The MCT50 guillotine cutting machine is the newest, high-capacity cutting machine for today's conditions. It cuts the material placed on the conveyor belt in a measured way, with the cut length set on the 7-inch screen.

It cuts with one moving and one fixed blade driven by an eccentric motion system.

Design

Cut length and feed speed are set on the 7-inch screen and can be changed while the machine is running.
The easy-opening front cover makes blade adjustment both simple and precise.
The feed roller unit carries the material to the blades with hardened-steel grooved compression rollers.
An auxiliary chrome roller feeds the material to the blade more effectively, and anti-jamming yellow brass is used at the blade edge.

Practical Advantages

Slight wear on the cutting edges during operation is compensated within a few seconds.
Blades are sharpened on the MBS-800 blade sharpening machine; the moving blade can be used on both sides.
The swivelling control panel gives the operator access to all controls and shows machine faults on the screen.
The inclination of the roller unit is quickly adjusted to the material being cut.
The feed apron is quickly removed; its design keeps material from getting between the belt and the side walls.
The machine is easily positioned with the help of its wheels.
The machine's loading belt can be run in reverse with a single button.
The conveyor belt can be started and stopped at any time with the external belt button on the screen.

How It Works

Material is placed on the feed conveyor; the grooved rollers compress it and draw it towards the blades.
The shearing action between the moving and the fixed blade gives a clean, precise cut without burrs or melting.
Roller settings ensure even feeding of material of every type and shape.
In case of overload the conveyor belt stops automatically; the reverse function clears blockages easily.
If material wraps around, the cutter stops automatically.
